Another Stakes Win for Segenhoe Part-Owned Whypeeo

Segenhoe part-owned, I Am Invincible three year-old Whypeeo, secured his second Listed win on Saturday, taking out the Listed BRC Invader at Aquis Mick Dittman Plate at Doomben.

Fresh and ready to fire at his first run back from a spell, the Toby Edmonds trained Whypeeo flew over the heavy ground to win the 1050 metre dash by more than four lengths, prompting his trainer to speculate on a possible run in the Group I BRC Doomben 10,000 on May 12.

Also a stakes-winner at Doomben in December, Whypeeo looks set for a good campaign and has the impressive strike rate of five wins from nine starts with prizemoney in excess of $300,000.

A $200,000 Magic Millions purchase for Blue Sky Bloodstock from the Yarraman Park draft, Whypeeo is a half-brother to Group II winner Meliora and is the sixth winner from six to race from terrific producer Sunset Boulevard.
