At Waikato Racing Club in New Zealand today, a daughter of Gr1 Myer Classic winner Hurtle Myrtle (Dane Shadow-Ravenswood, by Woodman) will have a her first racetrack start in a 1200m maiden. If nothing else, the I Am Invincincible filly will stand out due to her curious moniker: Vamos Bebe. To date, the Jamie Richards-trained 3YO has had four trials, winning twice and placing in another, and she is expected to be ready for her debut assignment. A relatively inexpensive $200,000 yearling at the 2018 Inglis Easter Sale given her regal lineage, Vamos Bebe is a half-sister to the winners Terwilliker and Snow Sparkle. In addition to her Gr1 victory, Huurtle Myrtle was a dual Gr2 winner with multiple Group placings that included the Gr1 Flight Stakes. Third dam Winds of Peace (Bletchingly) is a full-sister to Australian Champion 2YO Star Watch.
