The Sensational Run of Segenhoe Raised 2 Year Olds Continues
Segenhoe are having a stellar season for two year old winners and this was displayed again today when Animal Kingdom colt, Barbury won in tough fashion at Gosford today.
Prepared by Gerald Ryan, Barbary (pictured as a yearling) was having his fourth start and scored a half head win in the 1600 metre maiden as favourite.
Bred by farm client, Robert Dulhunty, Barbury was sold through the draft of Segenhoe for $75,000 at the Inglis Classic sale to Platinum Park. The colt is a half-brother to Macau stakes-winner Doctor Zhivago and is the fifth winner for Amatista, a half-sister by Scenic (IRE) to Group I winner Azzurro.
Congratulations to all involved. Another terrific performance by a Segenhoe raised two year old.
