SEGENHOE STUD

Our Differential

Our Goals

We understand our Clients have a lot riding on their assets and with Segenhoe Stud’s experienced staff, we ensure every thoroughbred receives the highest level of care and attention for every horse to reach their full potential.

Dedicated Acreage

The stud doubled in size in recent years with the acquisition of five new properties, including the old Tyrrell’s Winery which has been transformed into a purpose built Yearling Agistment area and an area known as the Glenbawn Block, which is to be developed into a dedicated Mares and Foals area, all complete with double fencing.

Improved Pastures

Improved pastures with specialized agronomy consultants, access to water from the Hunter River flowing through its heart and a dedicated farm crew leaves the farm lush and fertile.

Only The Best

Quality

From Group 1 winners Eagle Way, Manuel, Oohood and Merchant Navy, Segenhoe has a proud history of producing quality athletes.

Notable winning graduates such as Pretty in Pink, Winter Bride, Bella Rosa, Anaheed and Catch Me, as well as early prospects Garrison, Starla, California Salto, Famous, Edison, Disruptor and Darling Point prove time again that Segenhoe truly is the home of raising athletes.
