Sneaky Glance Rockets Home in Grafton Guineas Prelude

Segenhoe owned runner Sneaky Glance may have been slow out of the gates in today’s Grafton Guineas Prelude, but he made up for it quickly with a huge run down the outside under rider Jeff Lloyd to score his second win in a row for trainer Toby Edmonds.

The gelding by Husson out of the Danehill Dancer mare, Danehill Smile has hit a purple patch of form since moving to the Edmond’s stable, winning two from two starts, and now holds a place in the Grafton Guineas on July 12th.

In what could be called a case of déjà vu, the Segenhoe/Edmonds combination were successful last year with Medaglia D’Oro gelding Intrepic, winning the very same race, before going on to run third in the main event.

The Guineas is run as part of the popular two day carnival held annually which also hosts the Listed Ramornie Handicap and Listed Grafton Cup.
