Craig Atkinson

Craig has always been a man on a mission. Born into a farming family, Craig grew up in the Upper Hunter Region. 

When he left school he went on to be an enrolled nurse – 4yr post-grad. Following that he decided to get back on the road & focus on truck driving. 

 Craig started working at Livestock Transport Randwick in 1991 then went to Coolmore in 1996 to be their number 1 truck driver and assisted in all farming and horse stud duties.

Craig has been with Segenhoe since May 2014 and is an important part of the transport process of moving horses around from the stables back to the spelling complex & getting the yearlings to the sales.

Away from work he follows NRL, PBR & horse racing. He enjoys hunting, fishing, abseiling/ canyoning & golf – and is the Deputy Captain, RFS NSW, Jerrys Plains Station.

Craig & his wife Sarah have 2 boys – Mitch who works in the mines but has visions of joining the police force, aswell as Jesse, who is Head Stockman at Kenny’s Creek Angus Stud in Boorowa.
