Stephanie Watt

Steph began her horse career at the age of 14 on a stud outside her home town of Tamworth. On graduating school, Steph enrolled in a Nursing Degree and continued working part time in Armidale at another thoroughbred establishment. She chose to defer uni and moved to Victoria to broaden horizons at Sweetenham stud, before returning closer to home to start at Segenhoe as a stud groom.

Steph met Andrew during her time here and the both traveled to Ireland in 2017, working at Ballylinch Stud in Kilkenny. They both returned to Segenhoe as part of the yearling crew and after the 2018 sales season, Steph was promoted to an area manager position where she overseas Fairlight as our multipurpose area for yearlings, breakers, mares and racehorses.
