Louise Teague
Louise works hard to maintain the gardens and lawns at Segenhoe and takes ownership of the farm entrances, Segenhoe and Glenbawn homesteads, the Stud Office and surrounding areas.
Louise’s career started as a grounds person for the Packer family’s Ellerston property, witnessing and assisting in the dramatic transformation from a cattle station to a world-class polo facility.
Since that time Louise has worked in disability and acquired brain injury care experience before taking the position at Segenhoe to again work outdoors. Louise is extremely passionate about the Segenhoe gardens, along with her own property and garden on the Gundy Road at Scone.
Louise shares her life with husband Peter, children Jake and Jenna and enjoys competing with her Quarter horses and working on the farm in her spare time. Louise considers herself lucky to live and work in the beautiful surroundings of the Upper Hunter Valley and hopes to be here for many years to come.
