Spurs And Sashes Does it Again

The Toby Edmonds-trained, Segenhoe Stud-owned Spurs And Sashes to the fore at the Gold Coast!

Our tough four-year-old mare Spurs And Sashes, by Champion stallion Flying Spur recorded her third consecutive victory, and fifth overall, winning the RCI Handicap at the Gold Coast on Saturday, May 31.

Trained on the Gold Coast by Toby Edmonds, the Segenhoe Thoroughbreds Australia Syndicate (Mgr: K W Maloney)-owned mare has been a model of consistency since she joined the Edmonds yard, having eight starts for the stable, and has never finished outside of the top four.

Obviously loving the Queensland sunshine, Spurs And Sashes started the race favourite and settled at the rear of the field for jockey Travis Wolfgram.

Winning the race by three-quarters-of-a-length, Segenhoe Stud Kevin Maloney and his family were at the Gold Coast on Saturday to witness the victory of the talented mare.

Congratulations must got to the Toby Edmond stable who have done a wonderful job with the mare.
